The Office of University Planning and Development (OUPD) is
responsible for the development of
the university capital plan.
Staffed with licensed professionals
in the fields of architecture,
landscape architecture, design and
physical planning, OUPD is engaged
at the headwaters of the capital
project implementation process. The
office is involved in the
development of the initial scope,
site selection and programming of
major university capital projects.
OUPD is charged with defining the long-range physical vision
of each of the university campuses.
OUPD interfaces with state, county
and municipal agencies regarding
environmental and cultural resource
stewardship, and coordination of
long-range planning activities
working closely with the Office of
the Executive Vice President for
Academic Affairs. Technical services
and project support are provided to
professional consultants and to the
university community at large
