The Office of Planning and
Development is the office
responsible for reviewing all new
Significant Projects requests.
Before a university building is
designed and built, this office will
verify the feasibility of the
building;

where will it be sited
Ø
has funding been secured for
Architectural/Engineering fees
Ø
has funding been secured or
identified for the project
construction costs
The University Architect has the
responsibility of developing the
Feasibility Study. This
document will provide all details
including the Academic Program for
future building. Once completed the
Office of Planning and Development
produces the
Concept Document.
The
Concept Document
is an official document that must be
approved by the Buildings & Grounds
Committee of the Board of Governors
in order for a project to move
forward. This document will allow
for a project to move into the
planning and development stage.
